KDE 3.x Splash Screens by 18volt 7 comments

Bummer dude I know the feeling I backed up a heap of stuff to DVD only to find the burn was bad later.
Love the splash using it now :) who knows the SuSE spys may pick it up for the next release. - Feb 02 2004

Don't worry I found a solution in another thread.

I've found the settings for via686a-isa-6000!!!

You must change /etc/sensors.conf in this way:

- search chip "via686a-*" section
- comment (with #) lines that report labels for temp1, temp2, etc...

OK, that's work!!

anyone else having probs with settings take a look at the tmon page here http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=6977 - Dec 22 2003

This theme rocks. But I have a small problem.
In the monitoring area I can get the voltages to display OK but not fan speeds or temperatures. Running sensors in a terminal yeilds meaningful figures.
I have tried subsituting label"fan2" with fan2 "CPU Temp" and of corse similarly for case fan and temp.
I am at a loss as to what is going on here. Any ideas? BTW the chipset is VIA 686a and monitoring via ISA buss.

here is a copy of the terminal output it may be of some use ?

Thanks
Rob

Lush 0.1.0

Icon Sub-Sets by dave 58 comments

I really like your work here. While crystal was a refreshing take on icon themes, I found to be a little too 'in your face'. Lush on the other hand has a more subtle and pastel colouring which I find easier to the eye and more tasteful. Hopefully you will recieve similar help as Evoraldo with his Crystal set. I can see this being the default set for many upcoming distros. - May 18 2003
Green splash

Instead of jumping onto the content police bandwagon and virtually accuse the poster of theft and plagerism give a little credit. I am sure everyone here appreciates the concept of copyright and we cirtainly do not need to be reminded of it every other post.
As fot the comment
It's Shit
SuSE is shit
well for one just coz it's green doesn't make it SuSE and the author makes no mention of SuSE.
Second SuSE is a very competent distro. True they may distibute thier wares a little differently than Mandrake or Redhat but the choice to use it is the end users.
I just wish the thought police and commies would just shut up for 5 minutes.

overall a very nice theme. I especially like the departure from the miriad blue backgrounds and the color scheme is easy on the the eyes. I did change one thing tho'. Te default walpaper is too 'busy' down the left hand side making it difficult to see my desktop icons so I simply flipped it horizontaly an things are now much better.
Thanks for contributing this great theme. - Apr 27 2002
