Had never noticed that ;-)

Nice wallpaper, but it is 1920x1080 not 1920x1200 as advertized

I think I had used the wrong encoding when I edited the file, should be UTF-8 and working now...
I don't understand why I can't find this service menu through "download new services". Any ideas? - Jan 01 2014

thank you for the kind words and the thumbs up. I am glad it is useful to somebody else too.

;-)Sorry for the title of the comment by the way...it was a leftover from a question I wanted to make, but solved before writing the comment

I installed this on my N900 (thank you very much for suporting this old, but really unique device), following the link you provided.

Definitely one of the most useful service menus, after preparing some stamp files for pdftk, I use this a lot. Also repaginate is something I very often need as well as burst and join. All work flawlessly on Debian Wheezy KDE 4.8.
Great work, thank you. - Dec 18 2013

I like your oxydorado though.

Du scheinst ja fotografieren zu können. Aber das hier ist ja wohl ein Witz. Schon fast Spam.

Καλή ιδέα. Ευχαριστώ.

Not bad (even though it does not fit my color scheme). Installation instructions would be nice. I know I have installed Libreoffice splash screens previously, but such information is stored in short-time memory ;-).

This is really useful! And by the way gave me the chance to see that making such service menus seems quite simple...maybe I' ll tweak this for sha256sum.

A preview would be nice

Hi, nice desktop. Plasma theme and wallpaper are a bit too flashy for everyday work use for my taste and the, but that' s the nice thing with highly customizable desktops like KDE...
Which system monitor are you using?
I played a bit around with conky, but haven' t got fake transparency to work with kde 4.8 yet. What you use, however, seems visually appealing, so I would like to give that a try. - Feb 20 2012

Beautiful,
would like to see it as a KDE-plasmoid though :-) - Jan 06 2012

...and of course to all the creators of the original gnome theme.

I always thought this was a clearly overrated icon theme. Particularly because I did not like the quadratic folder icon...Well, that was until I actually installed them. They really fit great with my desktop. Thank you for your great work.

The best weather plasmoid so far for multiple locations..but what I would really like to say, the installation script is great! It allows to create a package from source, and make yast (in my case) aware of the installation. Thanks!

Sounds very interesting and much more legal than uploading the icons, but unfortunately the download does not work (maybe due to my very limited knowledge of the Italian language)

Very nice idea and good realisation.

Did you finally manage to get the handles back?
I have the same problem. I also had the same problem when I installed (following the same procedure) the humanity icon pack included in the Ubuntu version of LibO on my OpenSuse(KDE) machine (btw. I had the same problem also on a Win box). - Oct 12 2011

It probably did not match their screen resolution.. so they got frustrated

I use this theme since 2009, and it still is just beautiful.

Voting comments down...you don't seem to be very receptive of criticism.

Interesting compilation and background information. But from an artistic perspective tawdry and out of place on this site. Voted down.

Ok, I RTFM.

I know its a very newbie question. But even though I use OpenSuse as my main OS since 2007 I am not that much into the customization of looks.

I understand your argument regarding the use of 'given name'. However, inserting a date per contact is kind of inconvenient when you have moving namedays (I mean namedays that are not celebrated at the same date every year), as we have quite a few in Greece. I was hoping to be able to just change the definition file once a year to account for such cases...

Hi
first of all, very good idea. Unfortunately it does not work as I would expect it to.
How can I configure it to compare the "Given Name" field of KDE address book with the selected nameday definition file?
For test purposes I created a contact named Beatrix (Nameday on 12.03) and selected the German nameday calendar expecting the new contact to show up in the list (without me having to set a nameday date per contact).
what am I missing? - Mar 10 2010
