First of all, Thank You. The track is made up of windows logos but I will see what I can do with it and the other suggestions. It may take some time as the original rendering was lost on a corrupt cd-rw disk. Luckily I didn't lose my tux. - Nov 09 2003

Thank you for the constructive criticism, at least you explain what needs to be done.Unfortunately my rendering program is really quit limited, and as I mentioned before I can't afford 3d Max and the like. I guess I will just use the tuxes I downloaded from now on. By the way I intentionally made the penquin cross-eyed. The penguin is made up entirely of spheres and toruses and one cone. I voted "good". I like your work. Friendly piece of advice - more RAM = less render time. I use a P4 3.0 HT with 2048mb PC3200 RAM, render times which used to be in hours are now in minutes (about 15 to 20 for complex high quality stuff, quicker for less). Upgrade when you can, it'll make a big difference, and keep up the good work. - Oct 11 2003

Thank you. I make most of the wallpapers I upload here in Vue D'Espirit 3, the model is a .3ds figure which I believe was originally made in Poser. There are many such free models and .3ds objects (and other formats) available (with unrestricted usage) on the web. In the not too recent past I used to visit 3D Cafe and a great site called Avalon for such objects. I download most of my objects because I can't afford programs like 3D Studio Max and the like. All I can recall is that it is possible that I used Rhino, it was a long time ago. It may also be a download with zero restrictions on use, (the only downloads I use). Just can't be sure, us old-timers forget easily ya know. - Oct 07 2003

Since YOU are the only one who seems to have difficulty with practically every one of my uploads perhaps the REAL problem is on YOUR end. If you have a SPECIFIC problem with my uploads you should explain clearly what it is so that I can try to fix it, if you just don't like them then that is your right. If I don't know what you are actually complaining about I can't really fix it, can I? In case you are somehow unaware of it , there are file size upload restrictions on this site, therefore images with large amounts of content need to be optimized before uploading. With optimization there is invariably some (usually) acceptable image degradation. - Oct 04 2003
