I can confirm that these images are GPL. The author released the original under a noncommercial license on one site but released it under the GPL in another. I know this because I uploaded it to Wikipedia and had to research its licensing before doing so (WP doesn't allow noncommercial images on userpages). - Nov 15 2007

A note to others: If his instructions don't work, right-click on the desktop, select "Create Launcher..." and enter <i>gksudo nautilus</i> as the command. - Nov 15 2007
