of course i still want it, i really don't look forward to having to label 8500 songs by hand... so i love you for working on this ;-)

but the script still doesn't work, tough it doesn't crash anymore. it tells me 'missing artist or title. well, the tags are fine, they do have an artist and a title... i use mysql, could that be a problem?

no console output from amarok, btw.... and again, latest subversion. - Dec 07 2006

yeah, see it. doesn't look bad, sure... tough it doesn't give that industrial look from ubuntu ;-)

well, probably someone should just rewrite that theme for KDE... - Dec 19 2006
aah, i guess i just didn't notice it - it's hard to see with my colors i think. it was on my work, so i'll try here at home now...

Jos - Dec 18 2006

you wrote in the changelog the scrollbars can have a ubuntu-clearlooks look, but i don't see it... i did turn off colored scrollbars... - Dec 18 2006
well, i'd be nice if you could pull it off with the menu's, but don't if you don't feel like doing it ;-)

maybe the checkboxes should be square (or only slightly round). and i guess the input box we're writing in can't be changed by you, isn't it? on eg the dot repies, the input fields are rounded, this one is square... - Dec 01 2006
sorry to bother, i might have asked this before - but i'd love to see the menu's a bit more rounded. they do have at the corner a lighter pixel, but that looks weird on a black background. ehm, and to bother even more - the text input i'm writing this in could also use a bit smoothness, if that's possible at all... :D
and maybe the checkbuttons... ???
yeah, i hate squares ;-)

btw there are some details in your style i really love. one is the rounded focus rectangle. these simple things make a style look much more smooth! - Nov 30 2006
love to see it ;-) - Nov 24 2006
nice work on rc1. great config screen!!! really...

anyway, i'd like to ask if you could make the scrollbar (optionally) a bit like the ubuntu one in this screenshot. p://
i guess the top and botom of the scrollbar light up in a color when doing a mouseover?
i like them, and love to see it in polyester...

tnx and grtz - Nov 21 2006

imho smooth scrolling should be default for every scrollbar in every application... the auto-scroll is another story, not sure if that would always be usable. - Dec 08 2006

nice. maybe you can make it a theme manager theme, tough i'm not sure if that captures the qtcurve settings. most likely not... you could put it in that category, tough, as it's a bunch of settings for kde style and stuff, so it would fit there. color scheme isn't bad either.

anyway, about the shadow, i did suggest green (not try it myself, tough) because it might make everything look less busy, you know? green and orange do contrast a bit. (yeah understatement). orange is already very present in your theme, and enough i'd say. - Nov 27 2006
i'd like to add to this that i DO like the style, it's rather cool actually :D
maybe you could experiment with polyester instead of qtcurve? and i'd make the shadow green, not orange. - Nov 27 2006
it's more a theme manager theme, or something, right? a theme/style is a c++ engine for buttons, tabs, menu's, etcetera. you'r 'style' uses QtCurve for that...

now i agree theme/style might not be the right name (it should be widgetstyle or something) but in any case, this is the wrong category.

everytime somebody posts a new 'theme/style' i'm happy, and eager to test - only to find it it's just a colorscheme with a wallpaper and a non-kde window decoration or something...

pls, not that i don't like you'r work, but it doesn't belong in this category. can you change it, or at least don't do it again? - Nov 27 2006

about 1, i meant like polyester does. it rounds the menubar emphasiz, like the menuitem highlight. looks better, imho...

and about the animations, well - i think this is a matter of taste. i like the animations, makes it a bit more lively. but of course - if you don't want to do it, then don't... i can't send a patch, as i can't write a single c++ (or any other language) line ;-)

also, ksnapshot can copy the picture it made to the clipboard, but this suddenly seems to break. ksnapshot even crashes now and then.

third, i'd love to see the history as well... maybe you can take this data from klipper? - Nov 01 2006
