thanks, I typed the first chapter or so by hand. I will fix those as soon as i have time. There shouldnt be any errors past chapter 2. I should be making a more scalable version to easily add your own stuff soon. - Apr 07 2006
Thank you! If I can figure out how to make it so you can mark words I will definitely add that. About it being configurable.. Im not really sure. My orginal plan was to do that but python really does not like Japanese text(unicode). Since I really know nothing about python this would be hard for me. If you are interested in typing vocab for your book I will add it in. - Feb 01 2006

Has anyone been able to get this working on opensuse? It seemed to install fine but doesnt show up on the list of screensavers. I have tried moving the files around everywhere but it still doesn´t work. I tried setting the line in ~./kde.../kdesktoprc to point to kanjisaver.kss then ran ´dcop kdesktop kscreensaverIface save´ (i think thats it) and the screen kind of pauses but doesnt actually run kanji saver. It un-pauses when i move the mouse or keyboard. If i just run kanjisaver.kss i get the screen saver in its own window. - Dec 30 2005

also there is alt-f2. the search in suses kde is very nice if you dont know what the exact command is but maybe know part of it or the description. - Dec 24 2005
