But would you please send me a eMail when you ready with the address to get it from (and maybe upload it to kdelook ;))? Sure, you don't have to but somehow I'd behappy if it's reused.

KDE 3.x Window Decorations by spasemunkie 23 comments
I guess it isn't too easy to create a kwin window decoration (well - I never tried it) but I created several (not good looking but working) IceWM window managers which should be easy for you, too.
Sincerely,
Felix - Jan 25 2005

I applied your patches to all my CVS checkouts of KDE and it was working fine. I recompiled it - still working perfect.
But after starting my "new" KDE and using the features I got a problem: Everytime I try to select some icons on the desktop or in konqueror the selection area just remains with a it's blue touch. It's only possible to remove it again with pulling some window over it.
I applied the patch v. 2.1. - Oct 16 2004

the X server runs pretty stable but due to some problems with the new X.org and ATI I can't use the ATI-Drivers for rendering. So I gotta use VESA (radeon and ati are not working with my card) and it isn't really fast but still usable.
The greatest speed problems occure while starting and moving a program - once it is started or moved it runs perfect and without any problems. - Aug 31 2004

But I think it's great.
I took a little care about the language used in the tutorial - but your english really isn't that bad I think (But Iam only german... ;)).
Well - I just wanted to know wheter it's okay for you if I publish the corrected version?
Hm, I'm going to send it to you via E-Mail.
See you later, terra - Jul 02 2004

Iam from Germany - and you can read it two ways: English and German:
K Letter Wizard, that's allright and I understand it ;).
But then we have Kletter Wizard - klettern (german) = climbing (english), Wizard (english) = Zauberer (german).
So half translated it would be "climber wizard" or "kletter zauberer". I think it's funny ;). - Jul 02 2004

But I actually don't like the yellow weather icon - it doesn't really fit in there - it's too bright and shiny.
XCuse my bad english please... - Jul 02 2004

Also I like coding HTML completely by hand much more than with those featuresy you built in - the only thing I find usefull is the syntax highlighting and maybe the automatical preview. I actually prefer using kwrite for writing HTML and PHP.
But anyway you did a great work - I would never be able to create such a program! And Just because Iam too stupid to use it the right way it doesn't mean that it is bad - I really like it though I'm not using it and I would recommend it to everyone - especially to newbies in HTML!
And one last thing: Your WYSIWYG-Component is much better than the one of Mozilla and Netscape (so than Gecko I guess). - Jun 18 2004
