Adwaita Cupertino GTK3 theme

EXCEPT, he uses three different shades of blue, and one of those shades looks purple to me. It's inconsistent and totally unacceptable. JK, I think your theme looks good. Your blues are off though and would look better if you used one blue.

I think the blue that is used in the sidebar of Nautilus looks the best. I use a Mac and that shade of blue looks the closest. Cheers! - Nov 26 2011

First of all, very good work. I want to create a theme once I get Natty installed on my netbook (this weekend I hope).

I like thinner scrollbars than the ones you have in your screenshots. I do like the two different themes and would use them both.

I am curious as to what the progress bars look like. Maybe you could show more apps opened that will show the different features.

There is a tool, I believe it's called the widget factory (?) that is in synaptic that would show off this stuff for people to see better.

What size monitor are you using to do this excellent work on? A Desktop? If you would like, I will probably have Natty on my Asus Netbook by next week and will be happy to give you more info.

Keep going. I will be watching! :) - Mar 29 2011

WebCam Video Recorder (Nautilus script)

Nautilus Scripts by c2asr 5 comments

this is how i do it...

I created a file (video_with_cam.sh) and put in my bin folder. I use a keyboard shortcut to start/stop the cam video. Done.

Copy/paste the below text into gedit and save as video_with_cam.sh Make sure you allow the file to be executed like a program by ticking the box under properties>permissions.

Next, create a keyboard shortcut to that file. enjoy!

Win2-7 Pack

I found out what the problem was. Your script, when it changed the background, somehow made the background I was originally using no good. It wouldn't even load in picture viewer. So, I deleted it and replaced it with a copy I have in my home folder. I used UT to reload the background I wanted and all is good now. Also, your script did get me back to my original theme and icons but did NOT satisfy the desktop icon in my home folder. The icon looked like an empty file icon of some sort. So I manually fixed that. Other than that, your theme looked pretty good. I will use it when I install Linux on my friends computers who want Windows look. Me, I am very happy with Ubuntu look ;) - Jul 29 2010

Seriously... you have not heard of Ubuntu Tweak? http://ubuntu-tweak.com/

I already checked background and no Windows pictures in there. Somehow it is saving the picture somewhere else. I doubt UT has caused this to happen. - Jul 29 2010
Win2-7 Pack

Full Icon Themes by juandejesuss 1742 comments

I removed it.

One problem and this may be a glitch.

I am running Ubuntu 10.04 and everything is back the way I had it except the login screen background. It is still the Windows one, not the Ubuntu one.

I use Ubuntu Tweak to change the backgrounds. It shows that I have the one I want but when I logout it is still the blue one. I even tried to change it in UT and then back to the one I want and it is still the Windows one.

Could you tell me where this image is so I can manually remove it since the uninstall script did not remove it.

Thank you very much. - Jul 28 2010
