I'm not sure. It's buggy on certain distributions, and neither a complete set. It should do better now that I set it to inherit the default.

It's a tar.xz file. If xz is installed 'tar xJf' should unpack it. I have a macros of it and forgot about it. I will upload as bzip2 instead.

Thanks. I tried to add these fixes.

Far too late of a reply and I doubt it matters but the answer is Aurora modified as b&w.

d3w? I don't think so, at least I've never heard of it. I believe it was a loose set of icons for Windows which I don't exactly remember where I got them from, but all you see is mostly what was there with a few custom ones here and there. But there were no navigation icons. I have some basic ones for back/forward and such, but those alone will just make things look out of place and worse than leaving it.

I agree. I would like to actually complete this set with at least the most obvious gtk stuff covered but it's hard to find great icons that match this. Other than that, I'll have to create them myself. Not sure if I could do that many icons satisfactorily. Seems to me like adding mediocre stuff that's out of place is worse than leaving it alone.

To make an icon theme available you can download an archive to your home folder then extract it into .icons by opening a terminal and running:
tar -xf Filename.tbz2 -C .icons
(If by chance it does not exist, create it first with 'mkdir .icons')
To install it on all users, as root, change to /usr/share/icons ('cd /usr/share/icons') then extract it there ('tar -xf Filename.tbz2')
For themes, substitute the icons directory with themes - May 03 2008

Looks great.

Scrollbar could use some work but I like the color scheme. It's sort of fantasy/steampunk.

Nice, thanks.

Nice theme. It's disappointing when a theme like this comes together then you find there is no xfwm theme, here submitted in xfce-look

Nevermind, I forgot to log out, the bug is gone. Great engine.

I'm still seeing frames around some of the Xfce panel applets like system tray even when ticked off. I was hoping that would get fixed someday. This is a nice engine.

Themes like these seem to be buggy on anything older than gnome 2.18. The screens here are from xfce 4.4.1, and the window theme is the one I included in this theme http://www.xfce-look.org/content/show.php/Enmity?content=63812

Done!

The answer to your questions is: because they are stupid monolithic little nerds. :) I had a lot of trouble finding the colors I wanted in a theme when I was too lazy to edit them myself or create one, I waded through a million themes that all looked the same. Gnome has a color switcher now, it would be awesome if Xfce got one too.

Very good, I just wish it was more configurable. For example, to set image height instead of width, a max size of both or real size, etc.

I like this theme, esp. the metacity/xfwm themes, nice buttons. my only critique is that I wish it was fully rounded just like neutronium.

These wood themes of yours are all great. This is my favorite one. Very pleasant and neutral color. To me it's usable.
A matching xfwm4 theme would be awesome - May 22 2007
