I don't know if it's since 5.2 or 5.2.1, but mid clicking the main icon does open page after page after page....
So first mid click shows the hourly details correct. Mid-clicking again does not close and opens the next hour sheet, but rather opens the same sheet again on top of the first one. Next mid click opens this page again on top of the others and so on and so on...
Seems that lwp is not aware that the first hourly page is already showing.
Closing is only possible by reloading the theme.

If the same movement could be clipped at the boundings of the box, perhaps (just perhaps) it would be nicer.
But for myself I don't like the whole movement at all (because of the named breakage of design mentioned above), so you shouldn't rely on this single opinion. This clipping sounds very difficult to do, so it might not be worth the work if it's just me. :)
Thanks!

And then I don't like the text being outside of the box.
And beyond that there is too much movement now, so the usage is too nervous.
I think that are the same reasons why icon animations can be turned off.
But as I told, I can imagine that others like that, so I'm just searching for an option to turn it off just for me.
But judging by your question I fear there is no such option neither hidden in pref file nor visible in menu....

Can anyone tell me how to disable the new text animation in the drop down panels?
While there are surely people who like that, I don't like it.
Thanks,

As soon as you tell what exactly is better and post a screenshot then I will give it a try. Without this prerequisites, I will not download at all.

kdmtheme.cpp:46:28: kdmthemeconfig.h: No such file or directory
I cannot find this file anywhere. At last ressort I searched here:
http://webcvs.kde.org/kdebase/kdm/
But nothing in there, too.
Where did you get this header file from?

I often use phoenix (I think this applies to mozilla, too).
When a page get's loaded, there is a "working but responsive" cursor, a mix of the standard pointer and a small stopwatch right below.
This one is missing in your set.
