Look, this is how it normally looks: http://ompldr.org/vYjh2cw
Here, I have four extra programs launched, which adds four icons: http://ompldr.org/vYjh2dA
Note, there's still room in the panels max space to expand the panel even further, if needed.
Then, I close those four programs, and then I add a separator: http://ompldr.org/vYjh2dQ
This is what I find strange, why did it accept four extra icons and still keep within a single column, when just one separator tips it over? It's not as the separator takes up more room than 4 icons. - Nov 12 2011

http://ompldr.org/vYjhxOQ
Both of these were taken at the same time, only difference is the separator.

This one is the same as the first, except I launched another program to show that it should all fit in one column. It's really strange. - Nov 12 2011

I only got it to trigger when I enabled the separator now, though it's happened before even if separators are disabled.

The panel should just expand, since there's ample space left for the new icons.

It could also be a plasma bug where it fails to expand the panel, I suppose. - Nov 12 2011

I noticed that the maximum rows value doesn't work when you have a vertical panel. The tooltip says it should though. Is this a bug, or just a removed feature?
And if it's a bug, do you have a site where I could submit a proper bugreport?
Thanks :) - Nov 12 2011

There is. You just put it in .kde/share/apps/desktoptheme/<themename>/icons. The thing with systray icons is that they don't change with the icon theme, they change with the plasma theme. This is both good and bad: It's good that it follows the theme, so you don't have to change your icon theme just because you switched to a theme with a light background instead of a dark one for the panel (the dark theme would have its own icons that match the panel). It's bad because it's a bit more work if you find a nice icon theme that you'd like to use for all of your plasma themes.
So... yeah...
Anyway, I like the elementary icons, so I'm glad to see an effort to port this properly to kde. :) - Sep 22 2011

I wonder if there's a packaging issue at work here. - Jul 23 2011

Could you add support for putting it in the systray though? I'm not much of a fan of static applets. - Jul 22 2011

I'd suggest you use a different filehost. I wouldn't trust them.
Also, the rapidshare link is dead, apparently there was a limit of 10 downloads. - Apr 11 2011

Anyway, I'm using KDE 4.6 on Arch Linux. If you use Arch, the patched Qt and GTK+ can be found in the AUR. - Feb 07 2011

I'm using a patched qt and gtk+ to allow the menubar to be sent over dbus. Ergo, the window menu is there regardless if it's a gtk or a qt app. :)
The plasma applet is called window-menubar. - Feb 03 2011

The notifications could just be black turning into gray for transfers instead of red/green.
Other than that, this is an excellet theme. Great work! :) - Oct 12 2010
